The paintings in this exhibition, as well as its title, express the feeling of separation from a homeland and is a result of the observation of new external colours and
landscapes, mixed with internal meditation on the new surroundings.
Different light illuminated my new surroundings and my emotional feelings.
The warm colours and the elements of a temporary existence, migration and distance,
which I’ve used are probably an expression of my need to get closer to the “Israeli Warmth“, as opposed to the local climate, both physical and human.
The feeling of being a stranger and the need to overcome this feeling drove me to this creative-outburst of “Different Light “.
